The Slanket Review & Giveaway

Is there anyone here that likes the same room temperature as their spouse?  If he is comfortable, I am freezing.  If I am comfortable, he thinks I am “trying to grow tomatoes”!  The result of this is that I am pretty much cold most of the time.  This doesn’t end with summer either – in the summer the air is on way too much for my comfort!  It seems I am always piled in blankets.

My Thoughts: I eagerly anticipated the arrival of my Slanket, thinking this may just be my ticket to warmth, while still giving me the freedom (use of my arms without the blanket falling off and sliding to the floor) to do my blogging and other computer work at night!  And it would be, if my family would keep their mitts off my treasure!  Yep, The Slanket is the warmest, thickest, softest blanket we have in the house and it’s supposed to be MINE!  My husband mocked me for wanting a blanket with sleeves, but you know what happened?  The other day I walked into the living room to find him snoozing in his chair wearing my Slanket!!!  I dashed for the camera – after all this was worthy of posting all over the internet after he made fun of me for wanting to review this – don’t you agree?  Unfortunately, he woke up before I could snap the shot and forbid me to take the photo…

So instead I have a photo with the rest of my family enjoying my Slanket!  Even the dogs try to claim it for themselves!  This will give you an idea of the size of this blanket!  It is so long and so wide that it would fit everyone very comfortably, and even multiples without cold feet hanging out the bottom!  I definitely recommend The Slanket to anyone looking for a quality, thick, warm, soft, cozy way to keep warm while lounging around on a cool day or night.  It washes up beautifully as well and is greatly preferred by my daughter who owns her own Snuggie.  Comparing the two The Slanket is much bigger, thicker and seems much more durable and is much more conducive to cuddling!
