Sweaters By Lee Toddler Sweater Giveaway

I was recently introduced to a great woman named Lee who designs and hand knits gorgeous toddler sweaters (100 per year) and showcases them on her site Sweaters By Lee.

What is so unique about Lee is that since starting  her web site in 2006, she has always donated 10% of all sales to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer & Long Island Cares Food Bank. Recently due to economic hard times in the US & what has happened in Haiti, she has decided to donate 100% to charity adding the Red Cross to my list. Lee is lucky enough to be able to do this because she also has a full time job.

As soon as I heard Lee’s story I knew I immediately wanted to help her gain publicity for her beautiful sweaters and awesome charitable spirit.  I typically receive a product to review and keep but this time I just wanted to offer my opinion and forgo the product received.  The only tough thing about that is it’s very difficult to talk about the details not seen on the Internet.  Lee and I decided I would choose a sweater that she would send to me, I would write up my review and then she would offer the sweater for a giveaway.

Immediately I was drawn to the Aquarium Sweater:

All sweaters are $45.00 each, except the Lion Sweater which is $60.00.  Shipping & handling is included in the price of the sweater.

Each sweater is knitted by hand and features original designs. 100% Machine Washable Acrylic.

Sweaters are made for toddles size 2T, 3T & 4T.

KIDS HATE TO GROW OUT OF THEM!

Wonderful gifts for baby showers, birthdays and for the holidays. Sweaters are knitted in colors to match occasions and the seasons, for boys and girls.

My take:  I am so glad that I was able to see the Aquarium Sweater in person.  The detail on this sweater is unbelievable.  The air bubbles are buttons and the fish is just perfect.  Both of my boys immediately came to check it out and the 23 month old kept saying “fishie swim, fishie swim”.  This sweater is just perfect and would make an ideal gift for that special toddler in your life.
