Sleeping Bear Press: Goodnight Baby Bear Book Review & Giveaway
I am back with another great book from Sleeping Bear Press: Goodnight Baby Bear. First a little about Sleeping Bear Press:

Since our first success with The Legend of Sleeping Bear (Official Children’s Book of Michigan) in 1998, Sleeping Bear Press has impressed young readers, parents, teachers and booksellers with high-quality, beautifully illustrated picture books. As a small regional publisher based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, we’re proud to say that readers throughout the country know us by name. Our authors and illustrators are visiting more schools and bookstores than ever before. Our books have inspired sterling reviews, won awards, have been featured in presentations and even found their way under the White House Christmas tree. No matter our size, our goal remains the same: Provide books that enrich children’s lives through stories that blend entertaining text with educational content.
Now more than 10 years after the publication of The Legend of Sleeping Bear, our list has continued to grow and expand. In addition to our widely known Discover America State-by-State series, we have more than six different series including our Tales of Young Americans and our newest series Tales of the World.

Baby Bear shares special moments with all the important people in his life.
With Momma, he gets to spend time in the garden, picnicking and planting butterfly bushes.
With Daddy, he spends time on the farm, helping to fix the tractor and dig holes for planting.
With Big Brother, he goes to the beach where they sail kites and chase each other on the sand.
Aunt Grace takes him to the aquarium and answers all his questions, while Uncle Roy shows him how to be a clown.
And it’s always a special day when Nana comes to visit.
But while each day’s activity and companion may be different, the routine at the end is always the same. Baby Bear is tucked into bed with a reading from a special book and always with a honey oatmeal raisin cookie.
My Take: I especially loved this book because what a great idea to commemorate a special day than with a book? My mother-in-law always takes the time to inscribe a special message to the boys and I love it. As always the boys and I loved the illustrations. Goodnight Baby Bear also has the recipe for honey oatmeal raisin cookie which we plan to try very soon.
Sleeping Bear Press is generously offering 3 lucky MommyPR readers their very own Goodnight Baby Bear Book!
