I have recently decided to add 30 minutes of music time to the boys’ daily schedule when they are home with me.  I would like to introduce you to a CD that will be released this February:  Little Ditties for Itty Bitties.

“Itty Bitties”, infants and toddlers who are always moving and love music, deserve a CD bursting with joyful NEW songs just for them. With catchy melodies, simple lyrics and lively rhythms, MICHELE VALERI’S songs are a boost to springboard vocabulary (a child’s first 400 words) and to the joy of music. 

Parents, these songs are for singing and playing with your babies at home.

Teachers and caregivers, these songs can be used in a classroom setting with activities constructed to help the itty bitties learn basics through play.

MICHELE VALERI is a GRAMMY nominated children’s singer and educator with over 35 years of experience making music with young children. She has worked for 25+ years as a master artist and workshop leader for the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through The Arts. She has presented concerts all over the world.

My take:   My 22 month old could not get enough of this CD…he bounced, he danced and most importantly he listened and followed what was said on the CD.  Our favorites: Hurray for My Face!, Busy Busy Day, A Dinosaur I Am and Knock Knock Knock.
