I.D. Me Labels Review and Giveaway
Okay, I am just going to come right out and admit that my daughter has been wearing mismatched gloves to school for about three or four weeks now. It seems like lost items go hand in hand with children, especially the young ones. When we stopped up at the school to search the lost and found closet, I could not believe the quantity of lost items that were heaped in boxes! There was everything from silverware, pillows, towels, shoes, hats, pajamas, socks and an assortment of other items I could not for the life of me imagine why elementary school kids were bringing them to school… There was also one of our two missing gloves!
When I was offered the chance to review labels from I.D. Me Labels, I thought that this might just be the answer to our issue with lost items.
A bit from I.D. Me Labels:
“Welcome to ID Me Labels, home of the Binky/Bib Button, ID Me Photo Labels, and one of the fastest turnarounds in the industry (24- to 48-hours!); the very things that distinguish us from all other label companies! ID Me Labels are specially laminated so they’re UVA-resistant, microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and highly durable. Our research proves that millions of childrens’ untagged personal items end up lost or in the lost-and-found departments of daycare facilities, schools, camps, and swim schools annually. And with a relatively small investment in ID Me Labels, most loss can be prevented. ID Me Labels are perfect on baby bottles, backpacks, bibs, binkies, bowls, cameras, CDs, DVDs, clothing, craft supplies, cell phones, luggage, eyeglasses, lunch boxes, school supplies, sporting goods, toys, toothbrushes, pencil boxes, water bottles, and the list goes endlessly.”*
Take a look at this short high energy video to get a good feel for the I.D. Me products:
We received the All-Purpose Icon Labels, Stick On Clothing Labels, and Sole Mate Shoe Labels for review.
For the All-Purpose Icon Labels we were able to choose the name we wanted
on them, the font, color, icon and shape. We picked turquoise oval with a horse for my oldest daughter. These labels are very thick and feel quite durable. The All-Purpose Icon Labels are UVA resistant, microwave- and dishwasher-safe. We used these labels on things like her backpack, her Nintendo DS case, MP3 player case, cd’s, her school notebook and anything else that she thought she might want labeled. Once stuck on something, it feels like it will be staying there for a good long time! (SRV$19.95 for 25 custom labels)
We had my youngest daughters name put on the Stick On Clothing Labels since she is the one that leaves or loses things the most. With this package you get 60 clothing labels of various sizes. They are washer and dryer safe and are best when placed on the label. I really appreciated that there were three different sizes and shapes to fit all types of clothing labels. We also added one to the strap of my daughters backpack. (SRV$23.95 for 60 custom labels)

The last type of labels we received were the Sole Mate Shoe Labels. These are super sticky, strong, thick labels that will adhere to the shoe surfaces. We picked out the pink, round, princess design which is perfect for my little princess! These are also washer and dryer safe and should stick well to all types of shoe surfaces. (SRV$19.95 for 25 custom labels)
Over all I think I.D. Me Labels is tops on the customization options. There are enough fonts, sizes, colors and themes to thrill any child. Their use of great quality, heavy duty paper should mean that the labels will hold up for a long time. I.D. Me Labels has created a very useful product that will help keep mom’s lives more organized!
