We were super excited to receive the new Littlest Pet Shop Friends for Wii to review.  Talk about adorable!  This game is the absolute favorite of my 6 year old and she asks all the time if I will play it with her.  Each pet is cuter than the next as you travel around town with your best friend, preparing for the greatest party ever!

The game has all kinds of cool places for you to visit with your friend like the beach, the country, downtown, and uptown areas.  All of them have fun games that you can play to earn coins to use when you are shopping at one of the four boutiques.   There are also activities that you need to complete when you are preparing for the party like cake decorating, making ice cream, crafts and even cleaning up!

Moving around the game is really easy for the little ones, but she can’t read all of the words that the pets are saying yet so for now she needs either myself or my older daughter to play along with her.  However, she can go into arcade mode and play any of the games in the single-player mode all by herself.

When I asked my girls what they like to do best in the game my 6 year old said “Photo Shop” which is where you go to have your pets hit the runway (she LOVES the cats).  You  take, view and save photos as you play the Strike a Pose game.  My 10 year old likes shopping at the boutiques (especially with the horse) the best and dressing the pets up in various outfits and accessories.  They both enjoy the game, but it is by far the favorite for my youngest!

My Thoughts: This game is fantastic for the younger kids, especially the girls!  They can easily navigate through the various areas of the game and can handle the controls during the adventures.  I really like that you can play with two people and they both have equal abilities in the game.  There is plenty of different activities to do and lots of mini games to participate in along the way.  These pets couldn’t get any cuter and their homes are adorable too!  If you are looking for an easy to navigate games that is loads of fun for young girls Littlest Pet Shop Friends is the way to go!
