Create-Your-Own Converse Review

Converse just happens to be my favorite type of shoe. So when I found out about the Create-Your-Own Converse feature on their website, it became one of my number 1 ways to kill time. I have created so many pairs; I can’t even count, most likely over 20. It is super easy, fun, user friendly, and it has countless amazing designs, which you can put anywhere.  You can even customize it with your own text on the back or side. Like mine say “Lillian” on the back. Converse in general are so versatile and comfortable, that you can wear them any day. Not only that, but you can also wear them for sports. Although, since I’m completely uncoordinated, the only time I have sporting events is P.E. class. But mostly I wear mine, well, anywhere…. and everywhere. When my dad says, “Slip on some jeans, shoes, and a coat, we’re going to the movies.” My first instinct is to slip on my Converse. They are so comfortable, I can wear them to church (my church is really casual), P.E., the movies, the grocery store with my mom, friends’ houses, the park, school (on casual days at least), and so much more, and when I wear my new snazzy custom Converse, I get tons of compliments. They have really great arch support, which can take some time to get used to, but are great for my super skinny, super long feet.

I also love that Converse lace instead of being slip-ons, because very rarely can I find a pair of shoes that truly fit my extra-narrow, 9-½ sized foot (and yes, I am only 11, but keep in mind that I am nearly 5 foot 9). Also, Converse are extremely stylish, and as my friend Julianna puts it (she wears Converse a lot too) “They’re ‘in’.” But if you don’t prefer to design your own Converse, there are dozens of pairs to choose from. I believe that there is a pair of Converse for every personality. I currently own two pairs, (sadly), but only because my freakish foot grows so fast that I have to either a. order 1 or 2 sizes up, or b. buy new ones. Imagine how fun that is. Converse are such great shoes, that they can be used constantly, and are great for all ages. Also, in some peoples opinion the classic solid pairs look even better worn in. But, for those who don’t think that, they can be put in the wash on a shoe rack and come out looking brand-new, so you can get them dirty again, much to your mother’s dismay. I hope after reading this review, you realize how awesome a shoe Converse really are.
