I have a niece who is crazy about dolls…she can’t get enough of the dolls, the clothing and all the accessories that go along with the dolls. When I contacted My Twinn I was thrilled to discover not only would I get to review an Adopt-a-Friend Doll but I would also be able to offer my readers a Custom Made My Twinn Doll for a giveaway. First a little about the Adopt-a-Friend Dolls:
Our friend dolls are one-of-a-kind dolls made from leftover components and designed by our local artisans. They may contain components from dolls we were unable to complete or components that we were unable to use on a custom doll. They are also designed especially by our local artisans using their own creativity.
My take: The doll I received is gorgeous. My only request to the company was if at all possible to send a doll with brown hair since that is what my niece has. I can immediately tell you this is a doll that any little girl would treasure. She is beautifully made and she has an exquisite outfit, hat and matching boots. I was surprised at how tall she was and every single detail is perfect. This will become the birthday gift to my niece and I know she will adore it. The great thing about the Adopt-a-Friend doll- each one is unique. You can go to the Adopt-a-Friend section and pick out eye color, skin tone and hair color and My Twinnwill show you the best matches. I have a feeling that I will be revisiting this store next year to order a Custom My Twinn doll!
Custom made My Twinn Dolls retail for $150 and Adopt-a-Friend Dolls retail for $99. My Twinn has some great promotions going on at their website right now. Not only do they have dolls, they have outfits for dolls, matching outfits for girls and dolls, pets and doll furniture. One of my favorite aspects: the doll hospital if something needs to be repaired.

I have been wanting to get one of these dolls for SOOOOO long for my MIL – she’s a doll fanatic, but doesn’t have one of these yet. I would dress her in the red and ebony outfit with patent leather shoes!

I’d choose the Doll’s Garden Party Dress. The soft green is such a pretty color, and my granddaughter’s doll has long dark hair and would look beautiful in this dress!
