I live in Missouri, and we have problems with Japanese beetles in late June through July. I bought EcoSMART's Organic Insect Killer to try it because it DID say on the label that it Killed AND Repelled the adult Japanese beetle. Now, I will say that I have tried their granular pesticide formulas and it worked great for ants and other crawling insects, so I was hopeful the spray Organic Insect Killer may help repel the Japanese beetles. Well…..I must say that I was completely HORRIFIED AT WHAT HAPPENED!! Once I sprayed some of my ornamentals, it only pissed off the beetles, and it literally attracted hundreds more within minutes. The aromatic properties perhaps? I was amazed but very dissapointed that these beetles could be attracted so fast, I could actually watch them stream in from surrounding yards. I hate to say it, but this particular product of theirs is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, AT LEAST FOR JAPANESE BEETLES.
