Dr. Weil Baby Review

Weil baby products are some of the most stylish bottles and toddler cups I have seen in awhile. I love the shape and the assortment of colors. I was able to review a few different things for Dr. Weil Baby. The 9 oz. Tritan bottle with a stage 1 nipple. The bottle features the exclusive Airwave venting system that is clinically proven to reduce colic. The Dr. Weil Baby 9 oz. Tritan drinking cup and the Dr. Weil Baby Ortho Pacifier made of 100% silicone BPA-free material.

Let me tell you a little about the Dr. Weil Baby AirWave One Piece Venting System. It really works!!! Ok ok I do have more to say about this wonderful AirWave Venting system but that last line was the most important in my book!! This system has been proven to effectively reduce colic from the inside out. Really easy to clean one piece vent. Developed by world-class engineers, this system was designed to outperform leading venting systems (doing a great job so far I might add). Weil Baby bottles and the AirWave system were two and a half years in the design, engineering, and testing process. You can buy Dr. Weil baby products on their website and also at many Babies R Us stores however they are not available at all of them just yet.
I thought these items were reasonably priced as well (Tritan nurser bottle $8.99, Tritan drinking cup $9.99 and a two pack of Ortho Pacifiers $7.99).

My breastfeeding / sometimes bottle fed 4 month old was not so interested in the Dr. Weil Baby bottle nipples, he seems to want to stick with the tan nipples from Playtex that are getting harder & harder to find! The up side to this is I am still able to recycle all but the infant nipple from his 9oz Tritan bottle for Korbin (my toddler) by just inserting a new sippy spout I was able to buy at our local Babies R Us. So now when one of his (now favorite) spill proof sippys are dirty Korbin has an extra one. With all the interchangeable parts and being able to mix and match colors we will always have a “new” sippy cup being toted around by a very proud toddler. All the parts are interchangeable from the nipple/ sippy caps, the screw on rings that hold the nipple/sippy spout, the sippy cup handles and the nipples and spouts themselves.
The 9oz Dr. Weil baby Tritan drinking cup was really a big hit with my 20 month old Korbin; He carries that cup around all over the place, tucked under his little armpit!!! Like my 4 month old, Korbin too is normally a picky little guy but knows what he likes and this cup is a definite keeper. I love that the bottle and drinking cup both are wide neck which makes them easy to clean and the handles from the Tritan drinking cup are removable so you can put them on the baby bottle if want to, I love this for a few reasons first being to help teach baby to hold his own bottle (how many infant bottles out there come with a handle?), and secondly less to buy!!!

Korbin with his New Dr. Weil baby Cup & Look mom no leaks!!
Gavin (4month old) did however; take a pacifier for the first time ever. He really seemed to love the soft silicone feel, most others are so stiff and don’t compare to the feel and shape of mom at all like this Dr. Weil Baby ortho pacifier does, I have to say I am very impressed with it. This pacifier also shapes to your infants face and it’s wide so it really seems easy for him to keep in his mouth. I have yet to have one of my boys take a pacifier for me, so this was a total shock for my husband and I. It is nice to be able to pacify your baby while in the check out line at the grocery store and the bottle is empty, so for us we feel very spoiled right now!!! I can honestly tell you the “NO PILE” of pacifiers sitting in my cabinet right now have reached a total count of ELEVEN; Gavin just didn’t want to use them at all!!!

Another VERY useful addition to Dr. Weil baby products will be a breastpump. I can’t wait to see this breastpump when it becomes available. I was able to get a sneak peek (via email) at the pump and it looks GREAT, I’m sure its going to work just as well as it looks!! This breastpump is advertising to be THE only hospital grade breastpump Available in Retail Stores, being a breastfeeding mom I’m very excited to hear this. Some additional features for this all new Dr. Weil Baby breastpump will include:
• Sof-touch silicone cups with self adjusting vacuum and cycle control that closely imitates baby’s natural sucking action
• Universal one-size fits all cups (wow no extra cups to buy)
• Ultra SAFE – no fluids, bacteria or viruses
• Built-in timer to help Moms relax while pumping
Overall I really liked these products and would recommend them to my friends & family. A big Thanks to the Dr. Weil Baby team, your products are truly one of a kind!!
