Cuties Citrus Review & Giveaway *5 Winners*
California Cuties are two varieties of mandarins: Clementine mandarins and Murcott mandarins. You can purchase Cuties in a 3-lb bag or a 5-lb box. Although they are a tasty citrus fruit, Cuties are not “little oranges” contrary to popular belief.
Cuties have several distinct characteristics. This makes them the perfect anytime, anywhere snack. Unlike other mandarins or oranges they are:
Super Sweet-
Before a mandarin can earn the Cuties label, it must meet rigorous standards for sweetness, peelability and absence of seeds. For sweetness, Cuties must contain a minimum sweetness level. Unlike some imported fruits, Cuties super sweet taste is always 100% natural.
EZ Peel-
Kids love Cuties because their naturally loose skin makes them a cinch to peel. Which means they don’t have to ask Mom or Dad to help them – they can do it all by themselves. And the peel comes off cleanly, so there’s no pulpy or juicy mess.
Seedless-
One more reason parents and kids love Cuties: no seeds to spit out (or clean up). And to keep them seed-free, Cuties are protected from cross-pollination and tested at harvest. Of course, the occasional seed may slip by. But hey, nobody’s perfect.
Kid Size-
Good things come in small packages. Unlike their bigger cousins, Cuties are the perfect size for kids’ hands. And because they’re so small, all that juicy sweetness and healthy nutrition is concentrated into a few tasty bites. So toss a few into their lunch packs. They won’t last long!

Angela- These are the perfect size for toddlers. They really are so easy to peal, that i was able to send 2 of them in my daughters lunch without worrying who was going to peel them for her. The day they arrived, we actually ate all of them (except for the 2 that i managed to save for her lunch LOL). Cuties tasted so sweet and juicy..yet not overwhelming. For us moms, these can fit right in your bag and be the perfect on the go snack for us or our kids. I would defiantly buy more of these. Besides, who wouldn’t want something nutritious and named Cuties LOL.
Dawn-Let me start by saying that these Cuties lasted less than 24 hours at our house! I knew I should have hid them from the kids – but how can you say “no” to such a healthy snack? It is unanimous we are whole hearted Cutie fans in this home! You should have seen us huddled around the box tasting them… my 9 year old daughter said “Yum I can taste some mandarin in there”, “oh yeah me too!” my 6 year old chimed in. They are definitely product reviewers in training! They are so sweet tasting and so easy to peel that I didn’t even have to help the kids with it! We will be searching for these at our local WalMart on our weekly shopping trip this weekend! Thanks for the delicious treat!
Tina- My kids absolutely loved the little cuties we reviewed. They were nearly gone the same day we received them. Uriah my oldest son was asking for one after the other. Jordon my 2 yr old was so tickled that he didn’t have to have Mommy’s help to peel them (they were so easy for him). I didn’t mind my boys hoarding all the Cuties for themselves because even though they think they are getting a sweet treat I know that they are a wonderful Low calorie healthy snack for them. As for the maybe two cuties I was able to snatch from the fruit bowl….. They were sweet, juicy and simply delicious!!!
Amy-When I first opened the box I saw a beautiful stocking. This stocking was filled with Cuties. My family could not resist trying one each right then and there. I was surprised to see my son, who is 3, peeling his on Cutie. I started it for him but he finished it. These are the most easiest peeling fruit I have ever seen. So tasty and full of flavor. Needless to say that they did not last over an hour at my home.
Andrea- My family loves Cuties, they are extremely easy to peel, very tasty and best of all good for us! Two thumbs up.
