Texas Treats Review & Giveaway

Do you remember Angela’s post about Texas Treats? If not, click here. I will admit I was jealous because we are huge salsa fans in our house. I was very excited when I received the chance to review Texas Treats. First a little about Texas Treats:
Experience hospitality from the heart of Texas!
Since 1991, Texas Treats, Inc. has created Texas-size gourmet baskets and gifts with a Lone Star State theme. Based in Richardson, Texas, the certified woman-owned business serves:
- clients in the conventions, meetings, travel and tourism industries
- companies that wish to export Texas hospitality to their key business contacts
- individuals who want to share a taste of Texas
Founder and CEO Jackie Schwitter rides herd on Texas Treats, providing her culinary expertise and down-home customer service. In addition to creating innovative, themed gift items, Jackie annually serves as a judge for the Texas State Fair.
I was able to review the Texas-shaped Tortilla Chips, Personalized Salsa Ranchera, Spicy Cowboy Snack Mix, Pretzel Pete Gourmet Pretzel Nuggets Sour Cream & Habanero Seasoned and Creamy Dark Chocolate Filled Wafer Cookie.

My take: My inlaws were also at the house the day the package came. Our favorites- the chips/salsa and the Gourmet Pretzel Nuggets. The salsa was sweet and was liked by all including the children. I loved the fact that the chips were in the shape of Texas. My husband devoured the Pretzel Nuggets, he said they had a great flavor to them. I was able to personalize the label for the salsa and had Texas Treats put “Daddy’s” on the label, which my husband loved. The kids gobbled up the chocolate. All in all what a great treat for all of us. This would be the perfect food basket to give to loved ones for the holiday season.
Texas Treats has generously offered 1 very lucky MommyPR reader the chance to try the Austin Gift Basket.
