This is the second installment of great Holiday products from Peter Pauper Press.  First a little about Peter Pauper Press:

I was fortunate enough to be able to review 3 great Kids Activity Books:

The Nutcracker Ballet Fold-Out Playset:

The classic story of the Nutcracker comes to life with this book, theater, and paper doll play set. Read along in the storybook as your paper doll characters (more than 35 of them!) dance their way through three different foldout stages Clara’s living room, the Enchanted Forest, and the Land of Sweets. Place the dolls and storybook in the handy storage envelopes for safekeeping until the next performance! Fun for all ages! Measures 9-3/4″ x 10-1/4″ high. Includes 24-page book. Elastic band closure also serves to hold book open.  Retails for $14.99.

The Night Before Christmas Fold-Out Playset:

Make The Night Before Christmas come to life with this delightful book and paper doll play set, featuring the classic poem, plus a new North Pole prologue in verse! Read along in the accompanying book as your paper doll characters (more than 25 of them!) make their way through three different fold-out scenes: the North Pole Workshop, the family’s Rooftop, and their Living Room. When you’re done, place the dolls and storybook in the handy storage envelope for safekeeping until your next playtime! Ages 6 and up.  Retails for $14.99.

Merry Christmas Scratch and Sketch Set:

Make some Christmas magic! Scratch away the black coating and sketch Christmas cookies, holiday ornaments, and snowflakes of your own design. Decorate your gingerbread house, fill your stocking with treats, and draw your wish list of toys all in colorful glitter and swirled patterns that make the season come to life! Ages 5 and up. Shrink-wrapped with a wooden stylus for drawing on black-coated paper to reveal colors beneath. 64 pages. Includes 20 scratch-off, 20 illustrated, 20 sketch pages. 6-3/8″ wide x 8-1/2″ high; wire-o bound hardcover.  Retails for $12.99.

My take:  I still can’t get over the high quality of these activity books!  The playsets are exquisite and the details are spot on.  My 3 year old LOVES the Christmas Scratch and Sketch Set.
