Kairos Acne System Review & Giveaway

Kairos Winner 1

Kairos Winner 2

When you think of an acne care system, you likely think of a facial cleanser, astringent, and moisturizer system, applied directly to the face 2-3 times a day. I’ve been there, done that with acne facial systems that are supposed to visibly produce results in 3-4 weeks. I’ve tried more than one popular acne system out there and time after time wasted my money just to be part of the percentage that results were not typical for! That’s why when Kairos contacted Mommy PR about an acne system that is made for your hair, I was automatically intrigued.

Kairos is a first of its kind acne hair care system complete with a line of shampoo, conditioner, acne-targeted treatment, and styling products. I was sent a bottle of each of these products to review (the styling product I received was the hair spray, but there are also hair gel and other Kairos products available). Since those dreaded pubescent years, I’ve stopped using conditioner because my hair gets too oily too quick. Since then, I’ve had a routine of using only volumizing shampoo in the shower followed by hair spray for styling. With baby fine hair, I never really had a reason to use conditioner anyway. So right off the bat, I was slightly skeptical of Kairos’ claims to reduce acne with shampoo and, Kairos Triomore importantly, conditioner.

Here’s how my typical morning has been for the past three weeks using Kairos: start my shower with Kairos shampoo (lather and rinse). On Sundays and Wednesdays, I follow the shampooing with the acne-targeted treatment (using the applicator tip, apply to head in strips, leave in hair for 3-5 minutes). Finish up with the conditioner (leave in for 3 minutes). If not using the treatment that day, jump right to the conditioner after shampooing.

I found that I was able to use the Kairos conditioner without getting that oily feel by the end of the day! In fact, I’ve been using the conditioner everyday for three weeks and my hair has yet to feel oily and greasy due to my daily washings.Kairos spray

It wouldn’t be a complete and fair review if I didn’t disclose the good, the bad, and the ugly about my review. I had originally planned on reviewing Kairos for two weeks; however, on week two I had a particularly stressful week at work. Sadly, this happens often and every time the stress increases so does the acne. Though I did have a breakout, I noticed that Kairos was effective in keeping my breakout to a minimum. I requested to extend my review an additional week so I could see how my face recovered from the breakout and I must say that I was completely surprised with the recovery! At this point, the only blemishes on my face are scars from years of not keeping my hands away from my face and picking at the acne, but no NEW acne!

Kairos is also effective on chest and back acne as well since the acne prevention starts at the top of your body and prevents breakouts where oils normally run down the body in the shower. I luckily don’t have acne problems on my chest, but I noticed amazing results on my back from using Kairos! It’s always slightly embarrassing to wear a tank top or swim suit in the summertime when I know there are ugly blemishes on my back, but with continued Kairos use I don’t need to worry about that anymore!

For you to see the results for yourself, Kairos would like to offer a shampoo and conditioner for one Mommy PR winner! When I was in my teen years I might not have fully appreciated acne shampoo & conditioner in my stocking until I saw the results – so have no reservations about stuffing your teen’s stocking with Kairos’ amazing products!
