Brooklyn 5 and 10: Artful Flyer Review and Giveaway

Most of you know by now I have 2 boys who love planes, trains, automobiles and everything in between. We live close enough to a major airport that we frequently see planes flying over our house. A company called Brooklyn 5 and 10 allowed me to review some great plane kits. First a little about Brooklyn 5 and 10:

We are located in Brooklyn, NY, USA, but we are only a web retailer.
The store fronts shown in the photographs on B5+10 are only ‘”illustrative, not actual”.Brooklyn 5 and 10 is an online shop offering a selection of affordable whimsical gifts, growing kits and craft projects.
Our selections include batucada eco-friendly jewelry (jewels on the skin) tattoo inspired fashion forward gear, nueve (perception unlimited), plantarium single vial garden (test tube growing kit for plants), tatebanko (hokusai great wave and hiroshige’s lake view and winter’s evening snow), nippon work gloves (japan graphic gloves for work or play), handmade felt puppets (from Nepal), igrobot (robot shaped planter kit), eggling (egg hatches plant), nyokki (pet plants), crack-a-head, moving paper model kits (called paper animations, karakuri or paper machines) by Walter Ruffler, Rob Ives and Saka Karukuri, pinhole camera kits (sharan and hole-on ex), strange origami (choki ori), matchstick garden, czech wind up tin toys (kovap zetor tractor), pathfinders wooden siege engine kits for catupult, siege tower and trebuchet, yoshida wooden model plane kits, instant masterpiece (blow up frame).
I was given the opportunity to review 2 Artful Flyers:

Artful Flyer: Art Meets Air
Behold these beautiful plane kits — The wonderful result of art meeting air!
A quality balsa wood rubber band powered model plane transformed by art into a delightful flying machine. Two models are offered, “In the Clouds” illustrated by Maki and “Happy Flyer” by Robert Shadbolt. The plane assembles quickly and easily so you can get straight to the good part – dazzling observers with lofty flights and graceful landings. The planes’ assembled dimensions are 12” x 10”, each comes packaged in a 4 1/2” x 12” sleeve with a brightly illustrated cover. The flyers are made in America. Complete instructions are enclosed. It will quickly become a cherished belonging, so try to avoid crash landings! In the Clouds (blue) and Happy Flyer (orange) sold separately.
My take: These are going to be Christmas presents for my 3 year old but of course I couldn’t write a review without actually trying them. The planes are a cinch to assemble and very easy to fly. My 3 year old will be under close supervision with these to avoid crash landings because they are so nicely made!
Brooklyn 5 and 10 is generously offering 1 lucky MommyPR their very own Artful Flyer!
