Bombe de Bain Bath Bombe Review & Giveaway

bath2-vert

Imagine taking 45 minutes for yourself, relaxing in a hot tub of water with an amazing bath bombe to soak in.  Doesn’t it sound wonderful?  If so then I most definitely have the company for you: Bombe de Bain:

In creating Bombe de Bain, our idea was simple, but unique: to design a line of bathing products that treat our customers to a luxurious escape for both the body and the mind.

Bathing Destinations™ by Bombe de Bain™ is a line of bath bombes designed to capture and celebrate the vibrancy and variety of our beautiful world, and to put you at the center of the celebration. Our bathing destinations include some of the most romantic, exotic, and exciting places on earth – from a warm Tahitian Sunset to a colorful Hawaiian Rainbow, from a quiet walk through Monet’s Garden to a sensual Parisian Night under the stars, from the majestic Serengeti Plain to the sparkling Caribbean Blue– the moment you place a bath bombe into your bath, a thousand tiny bubbles will whisk you away to a colorful, fragrant and moisturizing paradise!

Each Bombe de Bain bath bombe is handmade using only the finest, purest ingredients gathered from around the globe. We use certified organic, authentic and fair-trade products, like our trio of coconut, olive and jojoba oils (amazing!) and generous helping of Dead Sea salts that are at the heart of every bombe.

In addition, each bombe has been individually designed, and its ingredients carefully selected, to give you the most transporting and luxurious bathing experience possible. For example, Le Ciel (The Sky) produces foaming bubbles as well as fizzing bubbles to carry you straight ‘into the clouds,’ while Serengeti Plainis made with unrefined African shea butter, adding subtle ambience and not-so-subtle moisturizing benefits to your bath.

Here at Bombe de Bain, our goal is to bring greater beauty, peace and enjoyment into the lives of our customers, as well as into the world we all share. In keeping with this goal, ten percent of gross profits from select bathing destinations will be donated to highly rated charities for protecting the people and places of our diverse planet. Make your next bathing destination a giving one!

From our studio to your inner-sanctum — and bathing destinations well beyond — we hope you enjoy using our products as much as we enjoy creating them!

I am an avid lover of bath bombes and am always on the search for great ones.  I recently had the wonderful opportunity to review 6 of Bombe de Bain’s bath bombes!

Alpine Spring

A highland trek leads you to a secluded pool of spring water, ringed with wild flowers and curtained by mountain and forest. Take a deep breath, and memorize this perfect scene.

Smells like: mountain mist

A spectacular sunset paints the horizon shades of orange and pink while you watch from the soft Tahitian sand, wrapped in a hibiscus-scented breeze.

Smells like: hibiscus

Our most romantic bombe yet! As night falls over Paris, the city takes on an alluring purple hue. Gaze out at the glittering cityscape as you bathe in jasmine and starlight.

Smells like:
night-blooming jasmine

Carribean Blue

Breaking the surface after an amazing snorkeling dive, you climb aboard your boat to feast on platters of fresh fruit and gaze out at the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Life is good.

Smells like: Caribbean fruit

My take:  I have tried several different brands of bath bombes and I have never found any so luxurious!  I loved each and every one of the scents I tried…my overall favorite was Tahitian Sunset followed closely by the other 3.  My skin has never felt so soft and moisturized after a bath as it did when I used Bombe de Bain’s products.  I truly had no need for moisturizing lotions with these!
Bomb de Bain also makes bath bombes for kids so I was able to review 2 for my boys:
Riding a BOMBIN’ wave back to the beach at Haleiwa, you make a dash for some shave ice. Fresh Kahuna pineapple? Like, definitely, dude.

Smells like: fresh pineapple

Mom, I was really good today.
I cleaned my room, did my homework, and made friends with the new kid at school.
May I please use a bath bombe tonight? Please?

Smells like: bubble gum

My take:  I chose the Small World bombe since it stated it smelled like bubble gum and what kid doesn’t love that smell?  I chose Hawiian Sunset because I just loved the variety of great colors it had!  Their little faces were priceless when mommy dropped a bath bombe in.  Their mouths dropped open and the 3 1/2 year old asked “will it fizz forever?”  He also couldn’t get over the fact that he smelled liked bubble gum!  I was so pleased at how soft their skin was after their baths.  Big thumbs up!
Bombe de Bain is generously offering 1 very lucky MommyPR reader 4 bath bombes of their own (winner’s choice)!!!
