Aleva Naturals Product Review

I love using natural and organic products on my children.  I was recently introduced to Aleva Naturals:

Bamboo Baby Wipes

Soft Bamboo Wipes Enriched With Natural & Organic Oils to Gently Clenase Baby’s Face, Body and Diaper Area.

-Ultra Soft Natural Bamboo Cloth Wipes
-Certified Organic Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Natural Tea Tree and Lavender
Oil
-Gentle on Baby’s Face, Body, and Diaper Area

Directions: Open lid and pull back the resealable tab. Remove and use wipes as required. Reseal and close lid after each use to prevent wipes from drying.

Key Ingredients:Aloe Vera, Chamomile Tea Tree, and Lavender Oil.

Moisturizing Emulsion

Moisturizes and protects sensitive and delicate skin.

Softens, moisturizes and protects baby’s delicate skin. The shea butter and oatmeal helps soothe irritation while sweet almond and olive oils leave the baby’s skin soft, supple, and silky-smooth.

Directions: Apply 2 – 3 times per day or whenever necessary to clean dry skin.

Key Ingredients: Certified Organic Shea Butter Oil, Certified Organic Olive Fruit Oil, Oatmeal Extract, Sweet Almond Oil.

2 in 1 Hair and Body Wash

Gentle on Eyes

Aleva Naturals™ 2 in 1 Hair and Body Wash is gentle and mild to the most sensitive skin. The Tree Tea Oil formula helps wash away flakes associated with Cradle Cap. The combination of oatmeal and chamomile extract leaves your baby’s delicate skin soft and smooth.

Directions: Hold the bottle vertically and press pump to obtain a dose of foam. Apply to your baby’s hair and body and gently massage. Rinse thoroughly.

Key Ingredients: Chamomile, Tea Tree Oil, Certified Organic Shea Butter Oil, Certified Organic Olive Fruit Oil.

Nursing Balm

Helps soothe and protect sore, dry and cracked nipples.

Aleva Naturals™ Nursing Balm™ is a rich blend of Natural and Organic oils. The combination of shea butter, cocoa butter and olive oil helps to soothe and protect sore, dry and cracked nipples associated with breast feeding.

Directions:
Breast feeding mothers: Apply Nursing Balm™ on and around the nipple area in a circular motion after breast feeding or as required.

Expecting Mothers: During the last trimester of Pregnancy, apply Nursing Balm™ daily to soothe dryness and prepare for healthy breast feeding.

Key Ingredients: Certified Organic Shea Butter Oil, Certified Organic Olive Fruit Oil, Cocoa Butter.

Breathe Easy Cream

Helps ease nasal congestion and relaxes baby to a restful sleep.

Aleva Naturals™ Breathe Easy Cream™ is a gentle and milky-smooth, non-greasy formulation. The natural eucalyptus and lavender oils release vapors that help your baby breathe easily and relaxes to a long and result sleep.

Directions: Apply a small amount to your finger tips and gently massage onto baby’s chest area. Leave clothes loose for easy inhalation after application.

Safety Tip: Recommended for use on children three months or older. Do not apply to face, nostrils or broken skin.

Key Ingredients: Eucalyptus Oil, Lavender Oil, Certified Shea Butter Seed Oil, Certified Olive Fruit Oil.

My take:  I tested everything except for the nursing balm, but having breastfed both of my boys until they were 15 months old I am a true believer in nursing balms.  The bamboo wipes are very, very soft and I use them for when my 20 month old is fussy with diaper changes…I really believe they help to calm him down.  The Breathe Easy Cream seemed to relax my son, he especially enjoyed the mini-massage I gave him and I love the gentle scent of lavendar.  The body wash is really great for when you are traveling….the lid and cap stay on tight and I don’t have to worry about it spilling all over their clothes.  My favorite is the moisturizing emulsion…it really softens his skin.
