Your Picture Book Review
As we all know by now, I love books. Can’t get enough of them so when I see a great book you know I will do everything in my power to bring it to your attention. Such is the case for my next review from Your Picture Book. I immediately fell in love with their personalized books:

Personalized Children’s Books
| So you want a personal, unique, and special gift for the little one you love… Well you’ve come to the right place. Personalized children’s books can make wonderful gifts and memorable keepsakes. |
| However, we at YourPicturebook.com have taken the traditional personalized children’s book concept to a new level. How truly special it must feel when a child not only hears their name, but to sees themselves on every page; talking and flying through outer space with Sparkle the Star in Moon Dirt Milkshake or sitting in the stands at the circus, counting “three bears riding bikes and throwing Frisbees”, in Can Count. We’ve added a very unique and ultra-personalized twist to the traditional personalized children’s book genre, by letting the child not only hear about themselves, as the star of the story, but also by letting them see themselves interact with all the characters in the book. But then we add one more thing; a twist to the twist, if you will…
Before adding your child’s picture to the storybook illustrations, we digitally convert the child’s photo to appear as a painting. This gives a seamless blending of child and illustration that looks almost like the child and illustrations were painted together.

| PERSONALIZED CHILDREN’S STORY BOOKS You spoke and we listened! Many of you informed us that you would like to purchase our personalized books as gifts for grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. In many cases you do not have (nor do you have the ability to take) a full body, head-to-toe picture of your loved one.Problem Solved!
Each of our personalized children’s books now have both “Full Body” and “Half Body” versions! I chose to review the book Moon Dirt Milkshake for my 3 year old son.
All about friendship and adventure: When your child wakes up one morning with a handful of silvery dust he collected from the previous night’s rainstorm, he decides to stir it in his milk and have a Moon Dirt Milkshake for breakfast (against the advice of his mother, of course). After he gulps down his shake, he begins growing bigger and bigger until he eventually floats off the Earth into outer space. He meets a friendly Star named Sparkle, and together they travel through space in an adventure that’s out of this world! Best for ages 3 – 7. My take: As some of you know, my 3 year old recently suffered a fractured elbow which resulted in a temporary cast. I thought what better way to remember that cast then to include it into the book. Unfortunately our camera was malfunctioning during that time period and we only got 1 picture with the cast. It was outside and my son’s face was covered in shadows. I emailed the owner of Your Picture Book to see if she could still use the picture. Using her magic she was able to give us a once in a lifetime book. I still can’t put into words how much my son loves his book. The first 2 days he wouldn’t put it down and he requested to take it for show and tell and then wouldn’t let the other friends touch it in fear they would get it dirty! He gets such a kick out of seeing himself as the main character. I love the illustrations in the book and the story is very cute. A big thumbs up from my family! Your Picture Book personalized hardcover books retail for $34.95. Your Picture Book also has personalized NFL posters, personalized DVDs and personalized coloring books.
