DuneCraft: Medieval Herber Review & Giveaway

I am back with my last review of products from the great company of DuneCraft.  This time around I was able to review the Medieval Herber.  First a little about DuneCraft:

DuneCraft was born green!  Our products install a love, wonder, and respect for plants and nature!  Experience our Plants that Work-let something else do the heavy lifting.  In addition to appealing to your sense of utilitarianism, these hard-working rascals will keep you in fresh air, soothe your skin, make your tea, and even flavor it for you.  Explore the utility of different plant life with the Desert Biodome and the Sweet Leaf terrarium.  Learn about these fascinating plants and how they can help you.  Our newest science novelties are like none other and we are making more all the time.  Experience “green” the DuneCraft way!

What is the Medieval Herber?

Grow, harvest, and use Medieval Plants with DuneCraft’s brand new Medieval Herber! These plants were used in the middle ages for food, medicine, paints, and other household purposes and were kept in a miniature windowsill planter. Medieval Gardens were nearly always rectangular and raised, as this garden is. The Medieval Herber starts sprouting in only three days and is very easy to grow.

This all-inclusive kit includes eight plant varieties from the Middle Ages, a state of the art windowsill greenhouse, planting mixture, and more! The Medieval Herber is safe for ages 4 and up and retails for $14.99!

My take:  My most favorite thing about this product is that I can use all these herbs while cooking:  roseamry, thyme, dill, marjoram, fennel, basil, chives and parsley.   My 3 year old will be able to see the herbs not only grow but also be used by mom when cooking.  This kit was extremely easy to put together, you only use 1/5 of the seeds to start out with, and the company guarantees you will have at least 20 seedlings by a month or they will send you a new package!  Pay careful heed to the instructions as you are not to put in the decorative gravel in until a month after planting.

The Medieval Herber retails for $14.99.

DuneCraft has generously offered 2 lucky MommyPR readers their very own Medieval Herber!
