Chicken Socks: Super Simple Sewing Review
If you are looking for something to do that will give you some quality one on one time with your child, you will want to look at Chicken Socks. They are the division of Klutz that offers the neatest project books written specifically for kindergarten aged children.
We received the Super Simple Sewing Book My six year old was super excited to see it in the package because she loves all creative things and couldn’t wait to try this out!
We waited until my oldest daughter was over at a friends house and Rylee and I enjoyed some great quality time together creating the three projects included in the book.
She made the bracelet first and had very little trouble figuring out what to do. The thing I really liked is that the plastic needle was big enough that she could thread it herself. Also there were no scissors involved, which is always a plus 
The first thing she did was remove all the parts. Then she wanted to explain to me that this book was for her because of the Asian girl that’s in it. When I told her that actually it was for all kids that are around her age, she thought that was pretty cool too!
She was quite proud of the things she had made and had great fun completing the projects!
We have had a few weeks of rain here and the Klutz and Chicken Socks books would be a great thing to stock up on for days when you are stuck inside do to bad weather!
Chicken Socks gets two thumbs up from my daughter and from me – now when she spots the display in a store she runs over and tells me which ones we should get!

I love it. It’s great gift Dawn. It’s very usefull. especially for girls. I’ll buy it if my daughter 5 or 6 years. Now she 4 months old. I’ll remember this Super Simple Sewing kit.

You must be really proud of your daughter and I can say that she is proud of her achievements, too. This is a great training book for kids that you should really avail for your kids. Aside from doing this task together, it can also be a training for them to do projects neatly and efficiently by following the step-by-step procedures. Through this you can make them really understand how to do things on their own, with a little guidance.
