Bella Mama Review & Giveaway

bella2-vert

Bella Mama graciously sent me samples of a couple of their popular mommy products.

Bella Mama

Sadly, I won’t be able to speak from direct experience as I review these for you. If you’ve ever read my bio at the end of my reviews, you know that I do not have children and I’m currently not pregnant so reviewing pregnancy products would be a little difficult for me.

Bella Mama 4

Luckily, I’m at the point where many of my friends are tying the knot and the next step is making babies! I borrowed a friend, and with a pen and paper in hand, sat her down to a lovely moment of relaxation as I let her try Bella Mama for herself. She thoroughly enjoyed giving her completely unbiased opinion of Bella Mama’s products!

First, she sat down with her feet fully submerged in an a foot bath with Bella Mama’s foot salts. I didn’t even have my feet in the bath with her and I enjoyed the soothing, relaxing mild citrus scent. Of course, she said any moment off her feet is a relaxing moment, but the aroma of the foot salt made the soothing moment even better!

Bella Mama 2After about 15 minutes of soaking (and girl talk) I handed over the belly oil. The purpose of Bella Mama’s belly oil is to reduce itchiness and prevent stretch marks before and after birth. Again, my friend and I noticed immediately the pleasantly soothing scent of the belly oil which is a light combination of lavender and neroil oils. The bottle even says it’s good to use on not only the belly area, but any area that’s “expanding”! (Maybe I can use these after all!)

After another 15 minutes or so, we moved on to the belly butter. You won’t Bella Mama 3find the belly butter on the Bella Mama website yet because it’s about to be re-launched! The purpose of the belly butter is the same as the belly oil, but the main difference is the scent of lavender and mandarin oils – besides the obvious texture difference between the oil and butter. We both loved the belly butter because of its (in her words) “fluffiness.” We both agree as well that the belly butter will be an outstanding re-addition to the Bella Mama product line.

Finally, we ended our time with a spray to the face, neck and arms of Bella Mama’s Face & Body Spritzer. This spritzer was designed to “keep the pregnancy glow alive”! ALL of the Bella Mama products are made here in the USA from completely natural, baby-safe products. I had planned on letting my helpful test subject keep my Bella Mama samples, but she made it very clear that she had become too attached to each of these products that there was no way I was leaving her house with them! I just wish I’d had these as gifts for her shower!

Bella Mama would like to offer one lucky Mommy PR winner their choice of either the Starter Set or the B-Calm Set.
The Starter Set includes 2 oz. Belly Oil, Face & Body Spritzer, and Foot Salts
The B-Calm Set includes an

About the Author

My name is Megan and I’m a unique reviewer for Mommy PR – I don’t have any kids yet, but one day I hope to. The majority of my days are spent at my 9 to 5 day job and I spend most of my evenings in culinary school! In September 2012 I will graduate as a pastry chef. Even though work and school consume most of my time, I enjoy spending any and all free time in the kitchen baking up something delicious and fattening. My other favorite activies include traveling and working out.
