Avery DIY Campaign and Giveaway

Winner!

Winner!

While the economy is creating stress — sometimes beyond our control – Americans are looking for ways to gain control of their environment. In a recent survey, nearly 80 percent of respondents who describe themselves as disorganized, want more organization in their lives as a way to take control during the recession.

Jodie Watson, TLC’s Real Simple.Real Life organizational expert, is partnering with Avery Dennison to launch the Avery Do-It-Yourself Organization campaign where consumers can get special weekly tips, articles and learn about organization tools, with special information tailored for office administrative assistants, small business owners and general consumers.

Jodie shares her biggest little secrets to success in organization including where to start organizing, how to get focused, and solutions for work and home at www.avery.com/diyorganization.  For example:

  • What tools do consumers need to get started so they will be able to tackle tasks without losing focus?
  • Where should consumers focus first if they want to get organized at home and at work?
  • How to find time to get organized in order to get through the day’s to-dos?

As part of the DIY campaign, Avery is offering  a free “What’s Your Label” organizational personality quiz as well as a chance to win a $5000 dream organization makeover by expert, Jodie Watson and other weekly prizes.

I was able to review some really great organizing products.  In fact I received so much that I am going to have to break them up into 2 separate giveaways.

Take the guesswork out of knowing what’s in your file folders. Files are labeled quickly and easily with Avery Removable File Folder Label Pads. The labels are easy to write, peel and stick so you can identify file folders on the spot. Labels come stacked in a convenient pad form, and each label features a perforated tab that can be easily removed after the label has been applied. You’ll never have to wonder what’s in your file folders again.

With Avery Removable Label Pads, getting organized has never been easier—or faster. Mark an object or document for identification, or jot a quick reminder—quick labeling is at your fingertips. Labels stick and stay where you want them, and remove cleanly when you’re done. Simply write, grab the nonstick tab to peel and apply. Tear the tab off at the perforations or keep it on for easy removal later. You’ll find these labels are as versatile as you are.

When you’re trying to organize lots of information, you need a good battle plan. These white Index Maker® Clear Label Dividers are a fast and easy organizational solution. The perfectly aligned tab labels feature an Easy Apply™ label strip to allow you to label all five tabs at once. And with free templates from avery.com, you can create and print professional-looking dividers on your inkjet or laser printer in minutes. That’s a plan that really divides and conquers.

My take:  The above products have really helped me start to organize my messy desk.  I love easily the removable file folder label pads come off and how some of the note tabs are able to be repositioned.

Averyis generously offering 1 lucky MommyPR reader a chance to win the above products to help with your organizing!

The quiz is no longer available so I will give you 2 tips I found for home organization -
Take on small organizing jobs first. Start on a small work area or a portion of your desk. No one said you had to tackle the whole project at once!
Build small organization systems and go bigger! Organize files and essential household paperwork, such as bills and receipts. Clear up cord-clutter by giving each one each an individual label. Label your kitchen spices on the rack. Seems easy, yet each activity is a small step to tackling bigger projects.
Hope this is ok! Thank you!
