Have you noticed what seems to be a huge increase in peanut allergies in our schools?

At one of the schools my children attended there were no peanut products allowed in the school because of the severe allergic reaction two children had to peanuts!  This meant the end of PB & J sandwiches for my kids and a more complicated lunch packing for me!  Soybutter is a wonderful alternative to peanut butter and it is without any added colours, flavours or preservatives!

I was hoping that it would taste good and when I received mine to try out I was wonderfully surprised to find that this tastes fantastic!  It is almost exactly like peanut butter and on a sandwich, you really can’t even tell the difference.  I tried the soybutter on a whole grain bagel and it was wonderfully tasty and filling!  Actually, I liked it better than peanut butter because it seemed to have a bit lighter taste.  Soy nuts are one of the things that I can eat with the P90X Nutrition Plan, so this worked out really great  – and my kids love it too!  In fact, if I hadn’t told them they were trying soybutter they would never even have known the difference!
