PurpleTrail Invitations Review & Giveaway

purple2-vert

Have you ever wanted to make an invitation, post card, or announcement from the comfort of your own home? I was recently introduced to a company called PurpleTrail who allows you to do this.

What is PurpleTrail?

PurpleTrail is a brand new way to organize and manage parties, get-togethers, events and meetings. With it’s fresh perspective, PurpleTrail brings together some of the best features and experiences to help you easily manage your event.  It has many great features:

  • Awesome Designs-  You can personalize the invite the way you want it by choosing from hundreds of design or easily creating your own.
  • Great looking invitations:  Your events get stunning looking online presence
  • Delivery Center:  Send invites over email SMS and Facebook
  • Address Book:  You can easily import your contacts from your current address book.  You can organize these contacts in a group for ease in sending invites
  • Track Guest Responses:  Track when email is opened, web page of event visited, RSVP done and view total guest response summary
  • Manage Event:  Complete control over your event and event reports for staying up to date on the events
  • Add Free Invites:  No weight watchers ads next to your dinner invitations!
  • Communicate with your Guests:  You can build excitement around the event through the event message board, event photos, and event videos.
  • Recurring Events:  You can use PurpleTrail to plan meetings and events that repeat periodically.

My Take:

I am willing to try anything that will make my life easier.  I will be honest, I am one of those people that will have full intentions to buy the birthday card and never do, or I will fill out the invitations and send them at the very last minute.  PurpleTrail has really helped me become more organized.  I really like how many options this website gives me.  I can make ecards, invitations, and postcards to send via email.  If I really want to I can even print them out to send.

Why do I like this site so much?  I can use templates already provided, I can add my own work/embellishments, or I can completely customize any card that I want to.  I have been experimenting for about a week now and so far I have sent a birthday card (that I forgot to buy), a postcard to see what is would look like, and since we are going to visit my parents this weekend, and an animated invitation for them to play with their grandsons (they got the biggest kick out of it).

Now I am not the most computer-savvy person but PurpleTrail’s website walked me through every step quite easily.  I love that I can create something and schedule it to be delivered whenever I choose.  I can manage RSVPs and send thank you notes when the party is over.  Now for some of you I know it takes the fun out of receiving mail but quite honestly I just don’t have the time to do it.

PurpleTrail has generously offered 1 lucky MommyPR reader the chance to win a years membership to PurpleTrail (the basic plan worth $15).
