Nikon CoolPix P90 Review – Day 10 of 30

Excited is not even the word today! I am taking my 15 minutes of fame and using them all in this posting.

I started reading more into the manual yesterday and came across the topic of Weight/Metering. There are several settings on this camera and thankfully, Nikon put them in “blonde” terms for me. It was set like a dictionary. It said what weight/meter and what it does.

So i played around with the camera to find all these settings. Here is what i set mine on for the following pictures:

Aperture Setting (dial)

Metering- Center Weighted

ISO- 100

Optimize Image- Vivid

Image Size- 12m 4000×3000 (i always leave it on that one)

Image Quality- Normal

Focus- Marco

Now on these photos i DID retouch them.

I used Leveling, Contrast, Sharpness, Bloom, Back light, Region (for specific sharpness), Film Effect in Agfa, Velvia, & Cinema, & last..Vignetting.

These are what i used all over, not on each one.

Just want to say..Yellow is by far the hardest color for me to photograph. It always has a horrible glare.

This one came out really great after some fiddling !

A Weed never looked so good to me lol

This flower is actually as small as your pinky nail! Its super tiny!

I had no idea there was a bug on this until i uploaded the photos. Literally caught him off guard!

This one, i actually shot in Black & White.

That is some crazy detail!

These last two, just a little piece of American Beauty.
