Kaskey Kids Baseball Guys Reviews
As the mom of 2 small boys I have come to the conclusion that is just must be in boys’ genetics to love balls. Any ball will do: baseballs, soccer balls, footballs, bouncy balls, you name it my boys love it. This spring we enrolled the 3 yr old in wee-ball and boy did he have a blast but he really struggled with learning the rules. I quickly began searching for products that would help me explain the game of baseball to him and I discovered Kaskey Kids. First a little about the company:
Kaskey Kids was founded by Bruce and Christy Kaskey in 2001 with the purpose of creating simple sports action figures.
As a mother of four sports-loving children, Christy saw that her children and their friends were happiest and most enthusiastic when sports were involved. Playing in the park, in the backyard or at the beach kept everyone active and occupied, but when playtime was brought inside, none of the traditional toys held the Kaskey Kids’ interest.
Christy took a look back at her own childhood for some inspiration and could vividly remember her two brothers engaging in hours of imaginary play with simple action figures like Army Men, Super Heroes and Cowboys and Indians. After a few years with her house filling up with every bucket or bag of action figures, animals or cars, Christy realized that a simple box of sports action figures could be the key.
Following an exhaustive search and realizing that the perfect sports guys did not exist, Christy and Bruce went about designing and marketing a boxed set of sports action figures that their children and friends could be enthusiastic about. The main design goal was to keep their children’s attention and encourage more creative and imaginary play. The result is the line of toys we have today!

So I thought, why not I will give it a try. The company has been great to work with. They actually just redesigned their whole website so I have been itching to post this review but wanted to also be one of the first to unveil their new website. I was fortunate to receive the product called Baseball Guys. This is a really neat 
product. Red and Blue teams face off. A fully adjustable scoreboard keeps the game as exciting and realistic as possible!
Set includes:
- 24 2 1/2″ players

- 28″ x 28″ washable felt field
- 10″ x 6″ x 5″ stackable container with attached lid and handle
It comes with a compact carrying case that neatly stores everything away and has a handle for easy transportation. Kaskey Kids were ever so kind and actually sent me a mini Pack of Baseball Guys that includes a whole different team of baseball players in gray. It was so nice to be able to visually show my 3 yr old how to run the bases, who was the umpire, where the players stand and why. He picked up on the basic rules of running the correct bases right away with the visual cues.
As soon as my sister heard that I had contacted Kaskey Kids for Baseball Guys she told me my boys were going to love it when they got older. She has friend who has a 5 year old who specifically asked for Baseball Guys for Christmas this year. He spends hours playing and his imagination runs wild with strike outs and homeruns. I can’t wait for my guys to get just a little older. Of course hubby had a great time playing with this set as well!!
Have children who aren’t into baseball…no problem Kaskey Kids has other sports as well. Football Guys, College Football Guys, Hockey Guys, and Soccer Girls & Guys.
I would recommend this product to any parent. The figures are well constructed, there is attention to detail, and of course you have to love the compact traveling case. Of course I have to say it is not suitable for little ones like my 16 month old.
