Big Eye Dummies Review & Giveaway
I was surfing the web one night looking for interesting companies and products and came across Big Eye Dummies. 
As I read through their site I found myself outright laughing at some of the things written on their site! I decided to contact them to see if they would be interested in having a review of these crazy looking dolls. They said yes!!!
I didn’t tell me kids about this because I wanted it to be a surprise to them when we opened up the package. We received “Hanna the Hopper” for review and “my Hanna” was thrilled to see a doll “named after her” (I see no need to crush this illusion)!!!
These designer plush dolls come with interchangeable eyes and mouths. Not just any eyes but BIG eyes and they are so funny! The first set of eyes and mouth come gently sewn down and the other set of eyes and mouth come packaged separately. We simply unattached the set that was sewn down by cutting the thread and the girls started experimenting with the mixing and matching! This poor doll has been dressed, diapered, snuggled, rearranged, toted around, carried in a doll carrier and through it all the funniest part has been that the expression on Hanna the Hoppers face just screams “Help Me!!”. I know exactly how she feels…
You have to go over and check out their sight, there is some seriously funny stuff there about Big Eye Dummies. These dolls are designed and created in New York City by David Lipson. David has this to say about the dolls “Big Eye Dummies offer several major innovations to the plush doll market, such as using high quality thread to hold them together instead of staples or nails. Another breakthrough was filling them with fluffy soft stuffing instead of rocks or bricks.
Focus testing has shown that these improvements seem to really enhance the ‘cuddle and snuggle’ factor for children.”
Seriously though, all products are tested at independent laboratories in America and they do comply with the European and American Toy Safety Standards (EN-71, ASTM F963).
Their site has some really interesting facts about Big Eye Dummies like # 8. Sometimes kids love Big Eye Dummies even more than they love their parents. Hanna the Hopper is such a hit at our house that this fact is better
left untested by us!
